Accokeek, MD -- Beretta USA is pleased to announce that Team Beretta athlete, Zachary Kienbaum, was inducted into the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) Hall of Fame recently at a banquet event held during the 2022 NSCA National Championship.
Kienbaum, who shoots with a Beretta DT11, is a 28-time NSCA All-American and 28-time Team USA Member that has been shooting competitively since he was 12 years old. Competing heavily throughout his youth and up until today, Zach has won countless trophies and accolades, including the honor of being the first inductee into the California State Hall of Fame.
His induction into the NSCA Hall of Fame was proceeded later on in the week with an exceptional performance at the 2022 NSCA National Championship, where he brought home a third HOA National Champion title. With this accomplishment and his back-to-back National wins in 2018 and 2019, Kienbaum joins a select group of two other sporting clays athletes as the only competitors to have ever won 3 National Championship HOA titles in NSCA history.
When Kienbaum isn’t traveling to state, regional, national, and international competitions, he travels the country as a visiting instructor with many prominent shooting clubs and coaches several up-in-coming youth and junior shooters.
Matarese (2014 NSCA HOF Inductee), who competes with a Beretta DT11 L, was also honored at the 2022 NSCA Hall of Fame Banquet as the owner of M&M Hunting Preserve and Sporting Clays, which was recognized as one of the 2021 High-Volume Clubs with 748,082 registered targets thrown.
