The DNR Ortonville, Pontiac Lake, Rose Lake and Sharonville shooting ranges will be closed for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays:

• Monday-Thursday, Dec. 23-26. The ranges will reopen Friday, Dec. 27.
• Monday-Thursday, Dec. 30-Jan. 2. The ranges will reopen Friday, Jan. 3.

The Bald Mountain and Island Lake ranges, operated by Michigan Shooting Centers, will be closed Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1.

Season closures

The Barry County, Dansville, Echo Point, Lapeer and Skogland-Erickson shooting ranges are now closed for the season. The ranges will reopen in mid-April 2025, weather permitting.
