Fontana MCJROTC Wins the 2025 Scopos National Air Rifle New Shooter League

In the New Shooter League, Fontana MCJROTC took first place with a 8 - 0 record, winning their first New Shooter League title. Fontana MCJROTC is from Fontana, CA and coached by LtCol Denny Meelarp. Fontana finished this season with an average score of 1129.3, an impressive 49.3 points higher than the winners of last year's New Shooter League, Jack C. Hays MCJROTC.

Finishing in second place with a 7 - 1 record was Martin Luther King NJROTC from Riverside, CA. Third place was claimed by Picayune NJROTC from Picayune, MS with a 7 - 1 record.

The 2025 New Shooter League featured 72 teams overall, making it the second largest ever.
