Team Beretta Shooters Win 9 Podiums at Recent Competitions

(Accokeek, MD) Team Beretta shooters recently achieved 9 podium honors between two regional competitions.

Team Beretta members in attendance at the 2019 Southeast Regional Championship included Joseph Fanizzi, Desirae Edmunds, Zachary Kienbaum, Dominic Gross, Meagan Harrington, Diane Sorantino, and Anthony Matarese. Fanizzi also recently attended the 2019 U.S. FITASC Grand Prix competition held at Hermitage Farm Shooting Sports in Camden, SC.

Fanizzi, a junior team member who shoots with an A400 Xcel Sporting Black Edition, achieved a third-place podium finish (and a subsequent sub-junior champion honor) in the main event with a score of 177 out of 200 targets, besting his nearest competitor by 5 targets. He also topped the podium as the sub-junior champion in the FITASC and 5-Stand events with scores of 88/100 and 89/100, respectively.

Edmunds, shooting with a Beretta DT11 L, attained a ladies runner-up podium honor in the main event with a score of 154 out 200 targets. She also brought home a ladies champion and third-place podium honor in the FITASC and Pure Gold Cup events with scores of 88/100 and 89/100, respectively.

Kienbaum, who shoots with a standard Beretta DT11, secured a runner-up podium honor in the FITASC event with a score of 95 out of 100 targets, after a close shoot-off with the eventual HOA FITASC winner.

Gross achieved a third-place podium honor in the junior 5-Stand event with a score of 83 out of 100 targets.

Harrington, Sorantino, and Matarese battled against some tough competitors and placed within the top ten in each event that they competed in.

At the 2019 U.S. FITASC Grand Prix, Fanizzi achieved a champion podium honor in the main FITASC event with a superb score of 185 out of 200 targets, besting his nearest competitor by 10 targets.

Team Beretta shooters will continue their season at the 2019 Diamond Classic held this week at the Greater Houston Gun Club in Houston, TX.
