Couple Named Regional Coordinators for Tennessee S3DA

Williamsburg, KY – Danny and Amy Hubble have been named as the new Regional Coordinators for Tennessee S3DA. They will collaborate with the existing Regional Coordinators in Middle Tennessee to manage the growth and activities of S3DA across the region, while concentrating on recruiting more S3DA coaches and teams, helping new teams with initial development, and offering support to existing teams in the area. Their enthusiasm and dedication to archery and youth development are set to significantly enhance the S3DA community in Middle Tennessee.

Both Danny and Amy were born and raised in Middle Tennessee. Danny, an avid hunter since his late teens, learned to shoot a bow for hunting and later taught Amy. They became involved in the S3DA program in 2021 when their oldest children developed an interest in competitive shooting. Now, all three of their children shoot in the S3DA program.

Danny and Amy became coaches to support their current S3DA team, Tennessee’s Triple Threat. They have enjoyed volunteering and providing assistance in various areas of the Tennessee S3DA program.

Amy said, “We absolutely love S3DA because it gives kids an opportunity to compete in local tournaments all the way to the national level and they get to be a part of a team. Not just any team, because these archers support each other no matter if they are competing against one another or against others. Archery is one big family, and we are grateful to be a part of Tennessee S3DA.”

About Scholastic 3-D Archery

Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) is a unique, family-oriented youth archery program which has grown exponentially across the United States as a next-step initiative to follow introductory archery programs. The mission of the Scholastic

3-D Archery program is to foster, educate and guide youth in the areas of 3D, indoor target, and outdoor target archery as well as safe, ethical bowhunting practices. The goal of the S3DA program is to provide archery and bowhunting opportunities to youth in after-school settings, as well as with archery-affiliated clubs and businesses in the community. S3DA youth participate in 3D and target archery using compound and traditional archery equipment. Youth members can participate at regional, state and national archery events and earn college scholarships from colleges and universities across the United States. S3DA addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving thousands of youth archers.
