Starting tomorrow, January 18, the Outdoor Wire Digital Network will be publishing our combined editions of the Outdoor, Shooting, Tactical and Dealer Wires. Instead of these individual services, subscribers will receive daily SHOT Show Special Editions that combine these services. Due to the volume of SHOT Show related news, we will be publishing a morning and afternoon version of the SHOT Show Special Editions, Thursday, January 18 through Friday, January 26. On Monday, January 29, we will wrap up our SHOT Show coverage with one final special edition.

In observance of the federal President’s Day holiday we will not be publishing any services on Monday, February 15. We resume our normal distributions on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
Today is the seventy-ninth anniversary of “a day that will live forever in infamy.” On December 7, 1941, the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked the United States Naval Base at Honolulu, Hawaii and brought the United States into the Second World War. After Pearl Harbor, the U.S. geared up for war, and the country never looked back. Today, as we live in another period of uncertainty, but we owe our lives and success as a nation to the more than 16 million Americans who left their homes and traveled over the world to protect freedom. Today, only about 325,000 of them are left, and estimates say they’re dying at the rate of nearly 300 per day. Today, it’s appropriate to remember them and the sacrifices they made for us.
Our final edition before the Thanksgiving holiday will distribute on Wednesday morning, November 25. If you have material to distribute before Thanksgiving, it must be submitted to our editors no later than 5p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday, November 24. We will resume our normal distribution schedule for all wires on Monday, November 30.
