Outdoor Channel invites viewers to take aim at all things Shooting Sports during Wednesday's 'Night At The Range.' Airing from 7-10:00 p.m. ET, this must-see lineup promises the best tips for firearms use, covering everything from plinking targets to hunting and from competitive shooting to tactical training and personal defense. Let Outdoor Channel's lineup of firearms and shooting experts show you how.
Shows in the Wednesday "Night At The Range" block include:
Guns & Ammo – 7:00 p.m.: Every week the G&A TV Team looks at the latest products from the shooting sports industry. Hosted by brand Editor-in-Chief Eric Poole and joined by respected contributors like Tom Beckstrand, Brad Fitzpatrick and Richard Nance, just to name a few, this program provides in-depth, hands-on product reviews, expert firearms training, and tips and techniques that will improve your shooting performance in the field or on the range. The team begins this month with an entertaining look at the innovative Caldwell ClayCopter.
Handguns – 7:30 p.m.: Hosted by brand Editor-in-Chief J. Scott Rupp, Richard Nance and Brad Fitzpatrick from Handguns Magazine, this program primarily focuses on personal protection, including concealed carry and home defense, but the team always works in plenty of recreational shooting activities. They also review the latest handguns, ammunition and accessories, and they always spotlight gun handling and marksmanship. This month they're starting off with a look at "Classic Guns of 2025," a best-in-class review of new handguns.
Gun Stories – 8:00 p.m.: Hosted by actor and gun enthusiast Joe Mantegna, this program takes viewers through a firearm's history, from its initial design to use on the range. Using state-of-the-art, high-speed photography, Mantegna looks at the operation and performance of each weapon. Throughout the series, historians, shooters, trainers and industry experts place these weapons in their historical and social context. The program starts this month looking at some of the most famous semiautomatic pistols ever produced.
American Rifleman – 8:30 p.m.: This is the on-screen version of the National Rifle Association's American Rifleman publication. Hosted by Mark A. Keefe IV and Jake Stocke, the editors span the country to cover the firearms industry. The first episode of the month visits the Sporting Clays Nationals and looks at the Leupold VX-5HD scope and .455 Webley Auto Pistol.
Shooting USA – 9:00 p.m.: Continuing the legacy set by his father, the late Jim Scoutten, each week Host John Scoutten brings new stories from the Shooting Sports and the Firearms Industry, and nobody reaches more shooting sports fans than Shooting USA. In this first episode of March, Scoutten visits CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park to see period-correct battle rifles and optics on the shooting line. Scoutten talks with Austin Hall, a junior competitive shooter who has risen to an elite level while still in high school, and he also reveals a new Hornady Security tip for keeping firearms safe.
Airgunner Challenge – 9:30 p.m.: Hosted by Mike Hart and Rossi Morreale, this reality shooting competition follows eight highly skilled shooters from the firearms industry and introduces them to the up-and-coming airgun industry through intense weekly shooting challenges with crazy set-ups and targets! The first episode of this month, "Paddle Battle," promises a heated, head-to-head, single-target showdown.
