GPO USA Seeks Dealer Development Specialist

North Chesterfield, VA – Due to continued growth, German Precision Optics (GPO USA), a leading manufacturer of sporting optics and accessories, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Dealer Development Specialist to join its growing team of professionals. Work Location: Richmond Virginia (preferred) / Remote Available

In this role, the successful candidate will focus on outbound calling to retail sporting goods stores, hunting shops, and birdwatching retailers to introduce the GPO premium optical product line, generate interest, distribute catalogs, and build strong business relationships. They will play a key role in expanding GPO's dealer network and supporting its sales strategy. This is an excellent remote opportunity within the outdoor sporting goods industry.

If so, the position of Dealer Development Specialist could be a perfect fit. GPO USA designs and sells premium sporting optics, including riflescopes, binoculars, and spotting scopes. It partners with GPO GmbH in Germany to provide high-quality optics for the U.S. market.

Key Responsibilities: Working in conjunction with the external and internal sales teams

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to retail and specialty stores across the U.S.
• Introduce and promote our brand and premium optical products
• Build and manage lead lists; identify decision-makers
• Schedule follow-ups, product demos, and appointments for the external sales reps
• Maintain accurate CRM records of all outreach and interactions
• Collaborate with sales and marketing on promotional campaigns
• Follow up on leads generated through marketing and trade shows
• Coordinate with external sales reps on geographic priorities, where assistance is needed most
• Provide market feedback on messaging, pricing, and positioning

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience in telemarketing, inside sales, or business development (required)
• Experience in hunting, birdwatching, or outdoor optics (required)
• Familiarity with scopes, binoculars, rangefinders, or spotting scopes (required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• A strong understanding of margins, terms, and related concepts is essential
• Self-motivated and results-driven
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
