Attendees can try and buy B&T USA suppressors covered by the Silencer Shop Foundation v. ATF injunction at Shark Coast Tactical's in-store festival, Oct. 9–10, and live-fire Range Day, Oct. 11, near Tampa, Florida
B&T USA, a premier designer and manufacturer of suppressors, firearms and related accessories, today announced it will participate in Sharkapalooza! Fall Festival, a three-day event hosted by Shark Coast Tactical. The in-store festival runs Oct. 9–10 at Shark Coast Tactical's retail location in Sarasota, Florida, followed by a live-fire Range Day on Oct. 11 at Gun Craft Inc. in Ruskin, Florida.
The B&T USA suppressors on display are covered by the Silencer Shop Foundation v. ATF injunction, which took effect Aug. 13, 2026. The federal government has until Oct. 5, 2026 — days before Sharkapalooza opens — to appeal the ruling or seek a stay. As a named plaintiff, B&T USA and its customers are protected from NFA registration and approval enforcement on covered purchases, though the purchase still runs through a licensed dealer, such as Shark Coast Tactical, and still requires an ATF Form 4473 and a background check. State law is unaffected.
The ATF has publicly confirmed it will honor the ruling. In an Aug. 29, 2026, statement, ATF Director Robert Cekada said the agency "respects the Court's ruling and the rule of law" and "will not take enforcement action against protected parties inconsistent with that ruling." Cekada said ATF is still finalizing formal guidance, adding that "getting it right matters more than getting it out fast."
"Regardless of what happens after the appeal deadline on Oct. 5, Sharkapalooza is exactly the kind of event where this injunction means something real to the people who show up," said Ridley Key, CEO of B&T USA. "Attendees can put our suppressors through their paces at Range Day, and if they decide to buy, they're not stuck waiting months on federal paperwork afterward. That's the whole reason we fought this case."
Sharkapalooza returns for its second event of 2026, following a sold-out spring festival. The in-store portion, Oct. 9–10, offers show-only pricing on firearms, suppressors, optics and accessories from returning vendors. Range Day, Oct. 11, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., gives attendees hands-on time with vendor firearms and suppressors. General admission Range Day tickets are $60.
Attendees can find B&T USA at the Sharkapalooza Fall Festival to try and buy suppressors covered by the injunction on the spot — no ATF Form 4 or Form 1, no fingerprint cards, no federal wait. Coverage is limited to named plaintiffs, their members and customers, and state-law restrictions still apply.
