On his epic journey of discovery, Bird meets up with some of North America's most knowledgeable anglers along the banks of the West's most iconic trout rivers. In this week's show, "Browns in Yellowstone," Bird heads to an unnamed Wyoming stream in Yellowstone National Park with Guide Paula Shearer and angler Kirk Deeter.
The New Fly Fisher (6:30 p.m. ET): The team at The New Fly Fisher travels across North America, teaching anglers where to go and how to make the most of their fly-fishing opportunities. In the first show of this month, "Visit Laramie Trout," Alyx Parks is in Laramie, Wyoming, in search of rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout.
Wild Game Cooking with Chef Rupert (7:00 p.m. ET): Executive Chef Rupert Boreland demonstrates easy and delicious ways to prepare, cook and serve wild game. In this month's first episode, "Pidgeon, Chef Rupert visits with Chef Zach Keeshig of the progressive indigenous restaurant Naagan in Owen Sound, Ont., Canada, and then he shows how to prepare Smoked Pidgeon [squab/wood pigeon] with Magnolia and Birch Glaze.
Fish TV (7:30 p.m. ET): Follow the Fish TV crew as they entertain and guide viewers to all the best fishing destinations, including their favorite hot spots. In this week's episode, "Inconnu Lodge 2," the team continues its bucket-list trip in Canada's Yukon.
Gary Cooper's Fishing Diary (8:00 p.m. ET): Host Gary Cooper goes back to his "Fishing Diary" every week and always has some great new stories to share. In this week's show, "Al Jenkins and Mike Denski," the guys fish for Chinook/King Salmon at Esperanza Inlet on the West Coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia.
West Coast Sporting Journal (8:30 p.m. ET): Each week, West Coast Sporting Journal celebrates British Columbia's hottest outfitters and saltwater sportfishing destinations. They also visit some of Mexico's best fishing destinations. On this week's episode, "Low Rock King Salmon," the spotlight is on fishing for King salmon off Esperanza Inlet in British Columbia.
BC Outdoors Sportfishing (9:00 p.m. ET): This program highlights all the best fresh and saltwater fisheries around British Columbia while educating viewers on what to use and how to fish it to improve their time on the water. Each episode features local industry experts as co-hosts and uses their know-how to teach "trade secrets." This week's show, "NHL Alumni Players Day 2," continues as Mike Mitchell closes out his "NHL enforcers alumni derby" at Shearwater Resort with Collin Patterson, Brent Ashton and Lindsey Carson.
Fishing the Rock (9:30 p.m. ET): Host Kastine Coleman explores different locations around Newfoundland, fishing and cooking meals from foraged ingredients. This week's episode, "Mackerel," features Coleman and her daughter fishing with Four Season Tours out of Cox's Cove, Newfoundland and then cooking at Newfound Sushi.
