The Hero Down Shootout Challenge 2023. The team shootout challenge is a 2-day team event designed to bring the shooting industry, first responder, military, and veteran community together to fundraise in direct support of those who have held the line for community and country.
This year's fundraising focus is CANCER. All event proceeds will be donated to The Thin Blue Ride, helping two officers battling Cancer: Worcester County Sheriff Ben Campbell and Massachusetts State Trooper Dana Oliver.

As Team Captain, Luther brings immense passion and drive to the team! Luther has been an avid shooter in multiple disciplines since 2017. He competes within USPSA, IDPA, Steel Challenge, 2-gun/3-gun, and PRS. With nearly 200 competitions since 2020, he seeks every opportunity to grow further as a shooter and promote the sport within his community.

Frank has been an active USPSA competitive shooter for over a year and has competed in over 100 local and major matches. During this time, he has gone from an unranked shooter to a master class while overcoming personal battles such as Cancer.

Kenton is an M-class USPSA Carry Optics shooter and GM in the Steel Challenge. He enjoys all things firearms and shooting. Starting off shooting a local monthly outlaw match, the competitive aspect of shooting quickly became a passion. With over 125 matches logged since 2019, you can find him at a match most weekends — Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and, occasionally, even in Massachusetts.
