MIAMI -- Taurus® seeks a skilled individual with a deep understanding of marketing operations and a proven ability to lead teams and initiatives for the Senior Marketing Manager position.
The Senior Marketing Manager position is open to persons who are qualified to lead departmental operations throughout the organization. They will oversee the production of all marketing materials and will be responsible for executing integrated marketing campaigns while managing and improving the creative process. The Senior Marketing Manager will work with outside agencies and will develop marketing and communication efforts inside and outside of the organization This high level position will manage the media buying process, drive new product exposure and will set and maintain the social media strategy for Taurus brands while providing support to the sales team.
The minimum qualifications required by Taurus for applicants are a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or similar area of study and a minimum of five years of experience in Marketing/Communications or related field. They must have a working knowledge of firearms and accessories.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
· Skilled marketer
· Deep understanding of Marketing operations
· Proven ability to lead teams and initiatives
· Polished writer, editor and public speaker
· Adept in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
· Working knowledge and extensive experience with design software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
· Firm grasp of website design and functionality
· Social Media management and execution
· Public Relations experience
· Crisis Communications
· Proven ability to gather, analyze and present meaningful metrics
· Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
· Ability to thrive in a dynamic/changing environment
· Ability to deal with ambiguity
· Experience and familiarity working with leadership and executive teams
· Ability to organize work for timely completion
· Demonstrated ability to generate ideas and execute plans that produce positive results
