This year’s World Archery Field Championships was held in Yankton October 3-9, 2022. A newly added category, Compound Mixed Team, to the venue this year worked out well for the USA team. Bowtech’s Paige Pearce teamed up with Dave Cousins to take top honors and become the World Archery Mixed Team Champions. The event was on home soil for Pearce and Cousins making it an especially meaningful victory for both.

Paige said, “Dave and I shot awesome, and we were able to secure the win! It was a really cool finals venue with a tough last target uphill! I had a great time shooting today, and I’m thankful I had such a good teammate. It was great getting to shoot a mixed team round.”

“This is doubly special. Not only a world champion on US soil, but you can tell how much fun Paige had with this mixed team event. I’m always excited to hear what Paige has to say after a competition, and in this case, you can tell how much fun she had here.
