Delray Beach, Fla. –– Century Arms, North America’s premier AK manufacturer, has announced the appointment of a new Regional Sales Manager, Kipp Oertle. Oertle has spent the last decade of his career in the firearms industry with other established brands like Cabela’s, Blackhawk!, and CZ-USA.

“As we continue to expand our team to further support dealer initiatives, adding team players with a strong background like Kipp is critical to our success,” said Jason Karvois, Century’s Director of Sales. “We’re not just looking for run of the mill people for these roles, it’s important to us to add strong players with deep industry knowledge and a knack for dealer support and development.”

Prior to joining the Century team, Oertle has been the Gun Library Lead for Sales & Purchasing and the Firearms Historian at Cabelas’ Kansas City Location, managed the Rifle Custom Shop Design & Sales program at CZ USA, and a Product Line Manager for On Gun Accessories at Blackhawk! Oertle will be bringing his enthusiasm and wealth of experience to work dealers in the Midwest-South region of the U.S.

“It is very important to me to establish long lasting, valuable relationships within the shooting sports community. I see myself as an educator, to help the client to pick the proper firearm set for their end user,” said Oertle. “What works in one store in one region, may not work in another. It is my job to help the client establish the proper mix of quality firearms to deliver positive results. Lastly, it is very important to me that clients, become personal friends for a lifelong relationship. This a great opportunity for me to work with old friends within the industry once again.”
