Beretta is bringing the prestigious Beretta Gold Cup to the United States for the first time during its 500th anniversary celebration at the 2026 NSCA U.S. Open Sporting Clays Championship in Hudson, Wisconsin, August 11-16. The inaugural U.S. champion will receive an invitation to compete at the 2027 Beretta Gold Cup in Italy, with top finishers receiving Beretta competition shotguns including the DT11, 694, and A400 L Sporting models.

Staccato 2011 announced fewer than 15 registration spots remain for the 2026 Staccato National SWAT Championship, taking place Sept. 25–27 at Staccato Ranch Vegas. The elite law enforcement competition features a $150,000 prize pool, with proceeds benefiting Fallen Blue, a non-profit supporting families of fallen officers.

SIGHTRON Ambassador Adam Migel won first place at the 2026 Rocky Mountain Airgun Challenge Speed Challenge in Utah using the SIGHTRON S-TAC 1-6x24 AR1 Riflescope. The event, hosted by Utah Airguns at the Garth Killpack Shooting Range, featured competitive airgun shooters competing for a $100,000 prize purse.

Team Beretta athletes achieved outstanding results at the 48th FITASC Sporting World Championship in Portugal, with Desirae Edmunds capturing Silver in the Ladies Division. Anthony Matarese Jr., Joseph Fanizzi, and Connor Daniel earned Top-10 finishes, while Fanizzi and Daniel's teams won first place in their respective divisions.

Fiocchi of America's Pro Team achieved exceptional results at the NSCA North Central Regional in Illinois and Iowa State Trap Tournament in Iowa. Bill McGuire captured three Veteran championships, Kiersten Sales earned two podium finishes, and Shelby Skaggs won eight Lady I event championships at the state competition.

Team Lapua's Brandon Green secured second place at the 2026 NRA National High Power Mid-Range Prone Championships in Oklahoma, posting an aggregate score of 2397-183X. Green also won the High Military Veteran and Any Rifle Iron Sight categories while helping his team, including Kimberly Rowe, Larry Sollars, and Jonathan O'Neal, claim the team title.

The USA Clay Target League's spring season is underway with 40,100 student athletes competing on 2,094 high school and college teams nationwide. Over 100 new teams were started this year, with the high school season concluding May 24th and top athletes eligible for the National Championship in July.

The NRA's Competition Shooting Division is launching The AMERICA’s RIFLE CHALLENGE, an all-AR-based program to both build and test skills for shooters of all levels. The inaugural event is set for April 19, 2025 at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, just south of Indianapolis.

Congratulations to Team Vihtavuori’s Ian Klemm winning the 2024 F-Class Long Range National Championship. Klemm, who loaded Vihtavuori N150 powder and Berger’s 30 caliber 200.20X bullets, had an impressive grand aggregate score of 1580-82X crowning him as F/TR National Champion for an unprecedented fifth time.

Michael Peterson's near-perfect 399/400 HOA win highlighted the 2023 U.S. Open Skeet Championship. The lone 399 he posted landed him unchallenged at the top of the leaderboard  and he claimed the HOA Champion title outright.

The Paralympic Games kicked off earlier this week and are set to run from August 24 to September 5, 2021. Shooting fans can follow the action with live scores and live-stream event finals once competition gets underway on August 30 in Tokyo and runs through September 5, 2021. 

The GLOCK Shooting Sports Foundation has scheduled the GSSF CMP National Challenge, this summer during the National Pistol Matches – at the Camp Perry National Guard Training Facility. The National Matches are conducted by the Civilian Marksmanship Program.

Hawthorne Christian Academy S3DA Team hosted the 2nd Indoor Regional Qualifier for South Carolina S3DA, with eighty-four archers from nine teams across the state competing.
