Krieghoff International kicked off the 2026 competition season at the Jack Link's Cup, held at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee, Florida, where the company proudly served as one of the event's main sponsors.
The event welcomed 1,672 shooters representing all 50 states and 15 countries and featured $350,000 in total guaranteed prize money, making it one of the most anticipated shoots of the early season. Competitors enjoyed beautiful 80-degree Florida weather, demanding courses, and plenty of Jack Link's beef jerky throughout the week.
Congratulations to all Krieghoff sponsored shooters who competed at this year’s Jack Link’s Cup and to the overall winners across every division. Team Krieghoff was well represented on the podium, with Brandon Powell, Shelby Moon, and Mike Wilgus earning podium placements, joined by three of the program’s newest sponsored shooters. Kiersten Sales captured Main Event Lady Champion honors, along with 5-Stand Lady Champion and Junior 3rd Place, and Super Sporting Lady Champion. Jonathan Prince earned Main Event Junior Runner Up and Super Sporting Junior Runner Up, and Jacob Judson claimed FITASC Junior 3rd Place.
As part of its sponsorship of the event, Krieghoff also donated a premier raffle item, a Krieghoff K-80 Parcours-X valued at over $22,000. Every registered competitor was eligible to win. Congratulations to Brad Mayberry of Illinois, whose name was drawn as the winner.
In addition to its sponsorship presence, Krieghoff International continued its partnership with valued dealer duPont Krieghoff to provide on-site sales and service support throughout the week. The collaboration ensured competitors had direct access to experienced product specialists and technical service over the course of the event.
The Jack Link's Cup set the tone for what promises to be a busy and competitive year ahead.
