World-class Fiocchi competitors return to the sport’s biggest stage in Corinth, Greece

Two of the most accomplished women in practical shooting will once again carry the colors of Team USA onto the world stage as Fiocchi Pro Staff members and brand ambassadors Dianna Muller and Lanny Barnes prepare to compete at the 2026 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot in Corinth, Greece.

The fifth IPSC Shotgun World Shoot will bring together many of the finest practical shotgun competitors from around the globe for a demanding international championship that tests speed, accuracy, movement, firearm handling and strategy across an extensive series of stages. For Muller and Barnes, however, the World Shoot is familiar territory—and both arrive in Greece with impressive histories of success at the event.

Barnes enters the 2026 championship as the defending IPSC Ladies Open World Champion, having delivered a spectacular performance at the 2023 Shotgun World Shoot in Pattaya, Thailand. Barnes captured the individual Ladies Open gold medal and World Championship while also helping the United States Ladies Open Team earn a bronze medal.

Her 2023 victory added another chapter to an already impressive international résumé. At the 2018 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot in Châteauroux, France, Barnes was a member of the U.S. Ladies Open Team that captured the silver medal.

Now she returns to the World Shoot with an opportunity to defend her title against the best practical shotgun competitors in the world.

"This is as close as our sport comes to the Olympics, and going into it with Fiocchi ammo—birdshot, slugs and buckshot—it gives me the peace of mind that the outcome relies only on my performance," said Barnes.

Alongside Barnes will be Muller, whose own World Shoot record demonstrates remarkable consistency at the highest level of international competition.

At the 2015 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot in Italy, Muller earned the individual silver medal in Ladies Standard while helping lead the United States Ladies Standard Team to a team gold medal.

Three years later, she did it again.

At the 2018 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot in France, Muller once again claimed the Ladies Standard individual silver medal, while Team USA captured another Ladies Standard team gold. Muller returned to World Shoot competition in Thailand in 2023, finishing seventh in Ladies Modified and contributing to a fourth-place finish for the U.S. Ladies Modified Team.

Across three previous Shotgun World Shoots, Muller has established herself as one of America's most consistent international practical shotgun competitors. In Greece, she will add another chapter to that record while competing in the Open Lady Senior category.

"It's always an honor to represent the USA on a world stage," said Muller. "Our successes in the past have been in large part due to the gear and ammo that are consistent and never skip a beat. I'm proud to represent Fiocchi!"

For Fiocchi, having Muller and Barnes competing together in Greece represents more than a sponsorship opportunity. Both athletes have been longtime ambassadors for shooting sports and examples of the skill, dedication and sportsmanship required to compete at an elite level.

They also arrive in Corinth with unfinished business.

Barnes will attempt to defend her 2023 World Championship, while Muller will pursue another World Shoot podium after twice finishing as the Ladies Standard runner-up. Together, they bring decades of competitive experience—and a history of delivering when the stakes are highest.

The 2026 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot Main Match is scheduled for September 28 through October 3 at the Corinth Shooting Range in Corinth, Greece, approximately 80 kilometers west of Athens. The championship represents IPSC's highest level of shotgun competition and will feature competitors representing nations from around the world.

For Muller and Barnes, it will be another opportunity to compete for their country.

For Fiocchi, it will be another opportunity to proudly stand behind two athletes who have already proven they belong among the world's best.
