The partnership is focused on increasing awareness of mental wellness and suicide prevention within the firearms community while encouraging open, honest conversations among friends, families, and peers. Together, VIKTOS and WTTA aim to remind people that checking on those around them, recognizing when something may be wrong, and knowing when to ask for help are essential parts of looking after one another.

Walk the Talk America works to bridge the gap between the firearms and mental health communities through education, outreach, and practical solutions that respect responsible firearm ownership. Its work helps reduce stigma, improve access to support, and encourage meaningful conversations around mental health and suicide prevention.

Throughout September, VIKTOS will use its platform to help amplify WTTA's message and share resources that encourage people to check on their friends, family members, coworkers, and training partners.

Responsible ownership goes beyond the safe handling and storage of equipment. It also means taking care of yourself, recognizing personal limits, and supporting the people around you.
