With deer gun season approaching, Millennium Treestands, a leader in innovative hunting gear, is spotlighting the DeadLock Carbon Shooting Stick Tripod — a stability platform built to help firearm hunters make the most of every shot opportunity, whether from a ground blind, field edge, or long shooting lane.

Gun season often means longer, more open shots than archery hunters ever have to consider. A rock-solid rest can be the difference between a clean, ethical shot and a miss or wounding hit. The DeadLock is engineered to eliminate the wobble and hesitation that come with an unsteady hold, giving hunters a dead-calm platform to settle in behind the rifle.

Constructed from high-strength carbon fiber, the DeadLock offers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, making it easy to carry into a stand, blind, or spot-and-stalk setup without adding bulk to a gun-season pack. Its top-mounted leg adjustment system allows for rapid, one-knob-per-leg deployment, so hunters can drop from a standing height to a seated rest in seconds as a buck closes distance — no fumbling with multiple releases while a shot window closes.

At the core of the DeadLock's stability is its multi-platform Vise Head. The 3-axis design levels a rifle perfectly on uneven ground, which is a common reality for gun hunters set up on ridgelines, field edges, or natural ground blinds. Interchangeable Arca, Picatinny, and Saddle/Vise plates fit a wide range of rifle setups. Adjustable drag controls let hunters lock down tight for a dead-still hold or pan smoothly to track a moving deer before the shot.
