Sedalia, MO - Sierra Bullets is proud to congratulate the competitors that won with our bullets at the recent 2021 Midwest Championships F-Class rifle match. Mark Walker and Brandon McCumber both shot in the F-Open division. Mark shot a 597-30x out of 600 possible, which earned him a solid second place finish. Brandon was just behind him with a 597-28x, coming in third overall. Brandon does some of the barrel chambering that Sierra uses to qualify bullets. Sierra shooter Dave Glick finished second in the F-Bench division, with a strong 598-35x. All three were shooting Sierra 6mm 107gr bullets (#1570) in 6mm Dashers.
Walker, Sierra’s Product Development Manager, used a load directly from the Sierra Reloading Manual. “The 6mm 107gr MatchKing is an extremely forgiving design that doesn’t require a lot of load development to get the best accuracy.”
The Midwest Championship Match is a yearly event that is held at the Bench Rest Rifle Club of St. Louis.
